Denise E. Greaves
Denise completed her BA in criminal justice at Long Island University in New York, where she graduated Cum Laude. She obtained a number of scholarships, the Merit Award, Honors Award, Academic Achievement Award, Leonard Hall Scholarship, and The Stacy Mitzman Memorial Scholarship. Denise was also a member of the honors society. Denise went on to complete a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in human resource management. Denise continued her education in Washington, DC where she went to law school and graduated with her Juris Doctor.
Denise is admitted to practice law in the:
- Superior Court of the State of Georgia
- U.S. District Court Northern District of Georgia
- Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia
- Supreme Court of the State of Georgia
Denise is committed to serving her community. While in law school she completed her internships in public service. She worked in Juvenile and Special Education Clinic where she represented students and parents in special education issues. Her goal was to ensure that the delinquency system responds to children’s need for care and rehabilitation. Denise represented various students and parents successfully in administrative hearings and courtroom representation.
Denise also worked in a Community Development Clinic. This public service clinic provides clients with a wide range of direct legal services to help them establish and operate their businesses and programs. Denise advised clients on business structure, prepared articles of incorporation, bylaws, partnership agreements, business contracts, researched trademarks, and prepared trademark applications. She was also instrumental in assisting a condominium association train their board of directors.
